With the Act No. 68 of 2020, exclusively in 2021, the date of "Umi no Hi" becomes July 22nd which is the day before the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympic Games, the date of "Sports no Hi" becomes July 23rd which is the day of the opening ceremony, and the date of "Yama no Hi" becomes August 8th which is the day of the closing ceremony. Since August 8th is Sunday, the next day August 9th also becomes a holiday.
